Addictions counsellor required for women's residential treatment facility. 

 

This is a full-time night position. Must be able to work nights and weekends. Applicants should possess a working knowledge of Twelve Step Programs associated with substance use, and a high school education or equivalent. Post-secondary education, work experience and/or life experience related to the addictions field considered an asset.

 

Responsibilities include: meeting with clients in an on-demand capacity, monitoring safety and security of clients, recording client interactions and progress, general administration and housekeeping duties as directed. Successful candidate is required to submit criminal background check.
