ATTENTION RECOVERY ACRES CALGARY SOCIETY

 

Under guidance from Alberta Health Services(AHS) and the City of Calgary, we continue to monitor the COVID -19 situation. Recovery Acres Calgary Society (RACS) is committed to ensuring everyone’s continuing health and safety. We recognize the challenge and responsibility we all share during this difficult time.

CLIENTS PLEASE REPORT ANY OF THE FOLLOWING TO STAFF IMMEDIATELY:

  • Recently traveled to/from or been in contact with someone who has travelled outside of Canada.

  • Have been in close contact with a confirmed or presumptive case of COVID-19

  • You are feeling unwell, whether your symptoms are consistent with COVID-19 or not


CLIENTS ENTERING RECOVERY ACRES PLEASE:

  • Wash your hands for at least (20 seconds) upon entering our facilities;

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth;

  • Use hand sanitizer stations throughout the facility.

We continue to assess operational risk and we will keep our community informed of changes or cancellations. Please refer to recoveryacres.org and social media for further updates.                     

Alumni Meeting Reservations:

We ask that Alumni adhere to the following safe social distancing and sanitation measures while participating in 6:15 or Alumni meetings:

 

  • Please call to reserve your place at Alumni meetings open to alumni.

  • A maximum of 3 Alumni are allowed at the 6:15 meeting weekdays.

  • A maximum of 6 Alumni are allowed at the 8pm tuesday alumni meeting, this is a hybrid meeting,  If you are unable to attend in person, you can still Zoom in         

  • Please arrive only 15 minutes prior to the meeting time

  • Masks are to be worn upon entering the building and must be kept on throughout one’s visit.

  • Hands must be sanitized upon entering the building.

  • Please report to the counselling office upon entering the facility where you will be screened for COVID19 symptoms.

  • Please bring your own coffee or beverage. The coffee area in the House will be off limits to visitors.

  • Please do not make physical contact with clients, staff, or other Alumni during your visit.

  • For the time being, we ask that a bus fund is not collected.

  • You are welcome to stay after the meeting to do Step Twelve work with clients.

  • Please do not enter the facility and cancel your reservation if you are experiencing any symptoms related to COVID-19, if you are feeling ill in any way, have come into contact in the past 14 days with someone else who is ill, or someone who is suspected of contracting COVID-19 or has contracted COVID-19.
