Plan A Fundraiser

When you fundraise for Recovery Acres you help those who need us most. From bake sales to bike rides, marathons to golf tournaments, fishing derbies to bowlathons, swimathons to curlathons, walkathons to skiathons to hockey tournaments there is a fundraising idea for you! By joining with an existing event, sponsoring someone who is participating in an event, or creating your own fundraiser, you are making a difference for men, women, families affected by drug addiction and alcoholism.

Why Start Your Own Fundraiser for Recovery Acres?

Your support is needed – Substance abuse affects and costs the individual, the family, and the community in significant, measurable ways including loss of productivity and employability; impairment in physical and mental health; reduced quality of life; increased crime; increased violence; abuse and neglect of children; dependence on non-familial support systems for survival; and expenses for treatment.

You make a direct impact – Every dollar raised will help empower us to improve the lives of Albertans with treatment for their addiction and co-occurring disorders.

You raise awareness – Every year, thousands of Albertans die from alcoholism, drug addiction and suicide. When you take action you’re not only raising funds to support our Recovery Acres but also raising awareness about the seriousness of substance abuse disorders and mental illness, to help ensure that no one loses a loved one as a result.
